The 15th Men’s World Floorball Championships will be played in Malmö, Sweden from 7th – 15th December 2024. This will be the fourth time that Sweden has hosted this event and the second time in Malmö. In 2006, Malmö played host to some of the group matches, but in 2024 it will be the centre of the Floorball world attention with all 48 matches played in two venues – Malmö Arena and the Baltic hall.
15 teams have qualified via regional tournaments and Sweden receive direct qualification as the host country. After the ballot draw the groups have been confirmed:

PLAYING SYSTEM
The final round will be played with 16 teams divided into four groups.
In the group stage each team plays each other once, while the second stage includes play-offs and placement matches. The two best teams of group A and B go directly to the quarter final. Teams placed 3rd and 4th in group A and B and the teams placed 1st and 2nd in group C and D make it to the first play-off round (played before the quarter finals).
QUALIFICATIONS
In total, 32 teams registered for the tournament – 22 from Europe, 8 from Asia Oceania, and 2 from the Americas.
Sweden, as the host country, was the only team that received direct qualification. All other teams participated in regional qualifications played in January – February 2024. From these events, 15 teams qualified – 11 from Europe, 3 from Asia Oceania, and 1 from the Americas.
