The countdown for the World Floorball Championships (WFC) is on. Today 35 days remain until the first face-off in Malmö. Sixteen nations are pitted against each other in the highlight of the year. Get to know the teams that are participating and competing for gold.
Qualifications
Estonia played in Group A alongside the Netherlands, Finland, and France in the WFC qualifications. In the first match, the team faced France and managed to win 19-1. In the next match, they had a tough challenge against Finland and lost 21-1. In the final group match, they played against the Netherlands and won 12-3, which secured them a 2nd place in the group stage. In the playoff match, Estonia faced Iceland and won 14-2. Now they are ready for the WFC in Malmö.

Ken Pähn is a forward with a strong scoring instinct while also providing clever passes. He plays for Sparta Team Automaailm, which competes in Estonia’s top floorball league. He is fast and has a strong understanding of the game. In the group stage of the WFC, he scored a total of eight points and ranked high in the scoring list. He goes beyond being just a goal scorer; he regularly contributes with assists and is a significant part of Estonia’s offense.
