The countdown for the World Floorball Championship (WFC) is on. Today 63 days remain until the first face-off in Malmö. Sixteen nations are pitted against each other in the highlight of the year. Get to know the teams that are participating and competing for gold.
Qualifications
Norway played in group C together with the teams Spain, Slovakia and Great Britain in the group stage to the WFC. The team started the group stage with a 10-5 win against Spain. In the next match they faced Slovakia. It was an even battle that ended 5-5 and each team got one point. The last match was played against Great Britain, where Norway won 26-3. Norway thus managed to go through the group stage undefeated. To succeed in making it to the WFC, the team needed to win their playoff match against Hungary. The numbers 16-3 meant that Norway could look forward to the WFC in Malmö.

Ole Mossin Olesen. Olesen came in first place in the scoring league, in Norway’s’ WFC qualification group 2024, with his impressive nineteen points in four games. Look out for his zorro skills that can take place when the opponents least expect it.
